Marc Caligtan, MD
Dr. Marc Caligtan received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology. He went on to gain both his Master of Science in physiology and complete his medical training at VCU Medical Center Medical College of Virginia. He completed his internship at Johns Hopkins University in the Sinai Department of Internal Medicine and his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Virginia.
Dr. Caligtan has volunteered much of his time and medical expertise conducting both local community sports medicine services as well as medical mission outreach in La Trinidad, Philippines.
In his free time he enjoys cooking and spending time with his wife and kids. Dr. Caligtan is also an avid fan of UVA athletics and the Washington Commanders. He is eagerly awaiting the return of Vincent Lombardy Trophy to the nation's capital.
